JawBreaker is a mobile puzzle game where you must rid the board of colored balls in order to score big points.
Just in like the PC version of the classic timewaster, JawBreaker for Java phones you need to make groups of same-colored balls. You select a group of touching balls by moving the cursor highlight using the d-pad or the 2, 4, 6 and 8 keys. Tap fire (or 5) and the group will disappear, causing all the balls above to fall down.
JawBreaker is very addictive and it's longevity is increased thanks to the inclusion of four different game modes: Standard, Continuous, Shifter, and MegaShift. Each of them causes the balls to behave slightly differently when a grouping has been made. Although the gameplay in JawBreaker doesn't vary wildly, it's fun trying to increase your high score on each of the game modes.
Unfortunately, the graphics in JawBreaker are very basic. The balls are very simply drawn, there are no cool special effects when you make a grouping, and it only has a plain white background.
JawBreaker is a fun way to kill time while you're waiting for the bus, but it's very basic in its design and its gameplay.
